MLM Direct Sales

How more than 187 Billion Dollars of goods and service were moved

At some point in your life you’ve been pitched a multi-level marketing (MLM), direct selling, or network marketing business opportunity.  While the pitch varies from company to company, it basically promises a chance to ditch your 9-5 work schedule, be your own boss, and make lots of money while making new friends in the process.
It all sounds good on paper, yet there is a seemingly endless debate over whether these companies and programs are legitimate business opportunities or not, so me being Involved for the past 25 years and my associations with many million dollar earners here is the scoop. As a result, I believe that the entire industry is poised for explosive growth and can be one of the most significant solutions to America’s and Canada's current savings crisis.
Initially, that may sound like a bold statement, but it’s not if you understand retirement the way I do.  See my Retirement program was BROKEN and I was hones enough to admit it. The reality is, making a successful transition into retirement has more to do with psychology than with money… and the same may hold true for multi-level and network marketing.
Don’t get me wrong, money has a role in retirement, but it’s not the primary one every one gives it.  Combine that concept with eye-opening statistics like AARP’s estimate that half of all baby boomers (76 million) are interested in starting a business and the makings of a massive trend are in place.
As far as the retirement saving crisis is concerned, more and more people are coming to terms with the fact that they probably aren’t going to be able to save enough money to just sit around and slowly deplete their nest egg from age 62 to 100.  With the average 50 year-old estimated to have less than $50,000 in retirement savings, there is an obvious need to find alternative ways to either save more or generate supplemental income starting now, and continuing throughout retirement.  Moving beyond just the dollars and cents, boomers are growing tired of feeling guilty or bad about their past savings habits and are interested in moving towards possible solutions.
Another growing reality that could benefit MLM and related businesses is the increasing number of baby boomers who are disenchanted with their current careers.  They’re worn-out from years of the corporate grind and don’t feel the connection between their job and the people it impacts outside their office walls or company grounds.  They’re shifting their focus from accumulating a giant nest egg to a desire to be part of something bigger and better… to have a positive effect on others… and working in retirement.  Facets of life that can be fulfilled with specific types of products and service available through some MLM or Direct selling opportunities.
Young Entrepreneurs have decided the working for someone else for the next 40 years and shrinking your dreams to match your paycheck is not an option!
Baby boomers are waking up and finding a way to make up for the last 30 years and open enough to explore whats possible.
Income producing asset example
Buy a house pay cash rent it out for a monthly cash flow... Takes money to do that $400,000-$600,000 depending on your market
Invest in Stocks and bonds commodities... Takes money accumulated and saved..
Save Cash in a bank account Pick the amount you would like your pension to look
You desire $2500 per month to live You would need $600,000 in that account, look at what the statistics prove
You desire $5000 per month, after all isn't it time to see the world do the things you want , not to say you can't
You can achieve this and Build a network of happy satisfied customers and business partners around the world, leverage your chances of success ...
Create an Income producing asset and set yourself up for success and not leave your future to chance!!!!
In conclusion every person young and old has a chance to find that freedom that comes from a successful Network Marketing business.
After 29 years in many different companies and having success you probably will want to know why I chose this one!!!
Of course you may not you may disregard everything I have said here and carry on just the way its always been.
The choice is yours, The evidence is everywhere around the world and every day people are waking up to whats possible.
Real People with Real results!!!!

Income Producing Asset

IncomeProducing Asset I shared a teaching on this recently Do you have an income producing asset? How many? Here are some examples of income producing Assets Real estate that is leased or rented for more than the monthly cost. A Business that produces revenue even if your not working it. Investments that produce cash flow example You have $500,000 invested with your Financial Advisor giving you a return of 4% you receive about $20,000 per year return Thats an income producing asset. One small challenge for most people saving $500,000 dollars Possible yes, challenging yes. I was asked "isn't my job an income producing asset" My answer was this In a job you are the asset, you produce you are paid, if you don't produce you are not paid. If you don't work you don't get paid. Bottom line its only as good as your last pay check .Working while producing that income producing asset is the key. Here is what some of my Mentors have taught me about Income producing assets The Greatest way to create a very large" IncomeProducing Asset "is set up Networks of Distribution. That's what the greatest networkers will teach. This is something anyone can do Open a Business Centre for less than $500 Become mentored by others who understand that their success only comes after you are successful!Thats a beautiful thing.cooperation not competition Learn, teach , grow as you build your business with other people with similar goals and aspirations .You are building your Network of Distribution for a life time income.Income that keeps coming in month after month. Your Asset's are the people! Respect,Teach,Inspire Lead and your future Income Producing asset will grow as you grow! This is a relationship Business love people! One of my mentors said this"if you help enough people get what they want you in turn will get what you want" Congratulations to all of you who are building your Income Producing Assets Embrace what we do learn, grow and we will all meet our dreams and goals and enjoy the fruits,of our labour Bill

Six Ways Successful People Stand Out!

6 Ways Successful People Stand Out! Substance trumps style in the long run. Here's how to make the kind of impression that lasts. Professionals spend the vast majority of their time helping other people succeed: employees, customers, vendors and suppliers... the list goes on and on.  Helping other people succeed is your job, but it's also your job to focus on yourself, at least part of the time.  Why? Your success creates success for others--and success requires, at least in part, standing out from the crowd and being known for something.  Of course there are different ways you can stand out.  Be first, with a purpose. Lots of business owners are the first to arrive each day. That's great, but what do you do with that time? Organize your thoughts? Get a jump on your email? Instead of taking care of your stuff, do something visibly worthwhile for the company. Take care of unresolved problems from the day before. Set things up so it's easier for employees to hit the ground running when they arrive. Chip away at an ongoing project others are ignoring. Whatever you choose, do it consistently.  Don't just be the one who turns on the lights--be the one who gets in early and gets things done. The example you set will quickly spread. Be known for something specific. Meeting standards, however lofty those standards may be, won't help you stand out.  Go above the norm. Be the entrepreneur known for turning around struggling employees. Be the business owner who makes a few deliveries a week to personally check in with customers. Be the boss who consistently promotes from within. Be known as the person who responds quicker, or acts faster, or who always follows up first.  Pick a worthwhile mission and excel at that mission. Create your own side project. Excelling at an assigned project is expected. Excelling at a side project helps you stand out. The key is to take a risk with a project and make sure your company or customers don't share that risk.  The same works for a business owner. Experiment with a new process or service with a particular customer in mind. The customer will appreciate how you tried, without being asked, to better meet their needs, and you'll become "that guy." Put your muscle where your mouth is. Lots of people take verbal stands. Fewer take a stand and put effort behind their opinions. Say you think a project has gone off the rails; instead of simply showing everyone how smart you are by pointing out its flaws and revamping the timeline, jump in and help fix it.  It's easy to criticize what's wrong or to talk about what should be changed or could be improved. The people who stand out are the ones who help do something about it. Show a little of your personal side. Personal interests help other people to identify and remember you. That's a huge advantage for a new business or a company competing in a crowded market.  Just make sure your personal interests don't overshadow professional accomplishments. Being "the guy who ran a marathon" is fine, but being "the guy who is always training and traveling to marathons so we can never reach him when we need him" is not.  Let people know a little about you; a few personal details add color and depth to your professional image. Work harder than everyone else. Nothing--nothing--is a substitute for hard work. Look around: How many of your competitors are working as hard as they can?  Not many.  The best way to stand out is to try to out-work everyone else.  It's also the easiest, because you'll be the only one trying. Connecting to Potential Client

Taking the time to Listen:
Here's a tip that could help you with your business.

When you're talking with people about your products, you may come
across someone who is not only using a competing product, but who
is a raving fan of that product.

On the face of it, that doesn?t seem a very promising situation.

However, here's a suggestion for you.

When the other person has finished telling you how much they love
the other product, simply say...

"That's great. I'd be interested, is there anything you would
change about your present product if you could? Or, is there
anything that you don't like about it?"

You'll be surprised at how often the other person will reveal to
you that, in fact, there are some things that could be better.

In many cases the difference between what they have and what they
really want is the clue and opportunity for you to introduce your
product as either an alternative or a complement to what they are
currently using. This is assuming of course you can fill the gap.
Finding the need and filling it!

Make your Day an amazing one! Don't wait for it to just happen.

Embrace what's before us!!!

If You Change One Thing, You Change Everything!

Looking back on your life, what would you change if you could?

Over the Holidays the classic movies were on remember"

In the classic 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life, the main character, a small-town bank officer played by Jimmy Stewart, is about to commit suicide when an angel shows him how different the lives of people in Bedford Falls would be if he hadn't been born. The movie is a favorite because it affirms how each of us touches the lives and shapes the future in unexpected and often marvelous ways.

Given the potential impact of every decision you make, it's wise to think ahead. Although few things turn out exactly as we plan, the better we understand how our choices start a chain reaction of events, the more likely we are to get what we want.

The enormous complexity of cause and effect leads to another conclusion: It's futile to look back at our lives with "what if" scenarios. What's done is done. Although changing our past would change our present, it would do so in ways that are so unpredictable that we could never know whether it would be for better or worse.

Accept and celebrate the fact that what you are today is a direct result of everything that's happened to you. It's pointless to wish things were different. Remember, if you change one thing, you change everything.
I said to someone the other day "everything that happened last year happened because it was supposed to happen"The person said "Bill your crazy you mean to tell me that the terrible things that I went through this year were supposed to happen i don't think so Bill' I said here is why
"Everything happened that were supposed to happen because they did!"
I can accept it because I can't change it, I can learn and grow from those experiences and so can you.How you look at things makes all the difference and the meaning you give them.

TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE As human beings, we often believe we don't have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives. But what we need to understand is that greatness exists in all of us. It's simply a matter of pulling that greatness out of ourselves and using it to get us from where we are now...to where we want to be. While many people believe they are entitled to live a great life, top achievers we've met over the years know they must take 100% responsibility for achieving the lifestyle, relationships, financial freedom and opportunities they experience in their lives. This isn't always easy. But one way to start taking more responsibility is to begin responding differently to the events that occur in your life.
You Get What You Give.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, in his essay, "Compensation," wrote that each person is compensated in like manner for that which he or she has contributed. The Law of Compensation is another restatement of the Law of Sowing and Reaping. It says that you will always be compensated for your efforts and for your contribution, whatever it is, however much or however little.
As we continue our year 2011 with excitement and anticipation remember "If we keep doing the same things over again we will keep getting the same result's better put "definition of insanity is keep doing the same things over again and expect a different result"I'm not going to give you all steps to goal setting like hundreds of people do what i will say is everything you need is inside you right now, let's draw out what that is in
2010 and what does it mean to you? Will you define yourself? Will you take action on becoming the person you were meant to be? If you said yes congratulations to you.. Now become accountable to someone who you trust and respect and be the person you have been destined to become...See you Next week

Team building

Pulling Together....The 10 Rules for High Performance Teams,

At the center of every high performance team is a common purpose - a mission that rises above and beyond each of the individual team members. To be successful, the team's interests and needs come first. This requires "we-opic" vision ("What's in it for we?"), a challenging step up from the common "me-opic" mind-set.

Effective team players understand that personal issues and personality differences are secondary to team demands. This does not mean abandoning who you are or giving up your individuality. On the contrary, it means sharing your unique strengths and differences to move the team forward. It is this "we-opic" focus and vision - this cooperation of collective capability - that empowers a team and generates synergy.

Cooperation means working together for mutual gain - sharing responsibility for success and failure and covering for one another on a moment's notice. It does not mean competing with one another at the team's expense, withholding important data or information to be "one up" on your peers, or submitting to "groupthink" by going along so as not to make waves. These are "rule breakers," that are direct contradictions to the "team first" mind-set.

High performance teams recognize that it takes a joint effort to synergize, generating power above and beyond the collected individuals. It is with this spirit of cooperation that effective teams learn to capitalize on individual strengths and offset individual weaknesses, using diversity as an advantage.

Effective teams also understand the importance of establishing cooperative systems, structures, incentives and rewards. We get what we inspect, not what we expect. Think about it. Do you have team job descriptions, team performance reviews and team reward systems? Do you recognize people by pitting them against standards of excellence, or one another? What are you doing to cultivate a team-first, cooperative environment in this competitive, "me-opic" world?

To embrace the team-first rule, make sure your team purpose and priorities are clear. What is your overall mission? What is your game plan? What is expected of each team member? How can each member contribute most effectively? What constants will hold the team together? Then stop and ask yourself, are you putting the team first?

Pulling Together captures the essence of teamwork It takes committment and vision.

The Power of Responsibility

The Power of Responsibility

It's been said that the line between childhood and adulthood is crossed when we move from saying "It got lost" to "I lost it." Indeed, being accountable - and understanding and accepting the role our choices play in the things that happen - are crucial signs of emotional and moral maturity. That's why responsibility is one of the main pillars of good character.

Many people have been seduced by the Peter Pan philosophy of refusing to grow up and avoiding the burdens implied in being accountable. Yes, responsibility sometimes requires us to do things that are unpleasant or even frightening. It asks us to carry our own weight, prepare and set goals, and exercise the discipline to reach our aspirations.

But the benefits of accepting responsibility far outweigh the short-lived advantages of refusing to do so. No one makes his or her life better by avoiding responsibility. In fact, irresponsibility is a form of self-imposed servitude - to circumstances and to other people.

Responsibility is about our ability to respond to circumstances and to choose the attitudes, actions, and reactions that shape our lives. It is a concept of power that puts us in the driver's seat. The grand panorama of the potential of our lives can only be appreciated when we begin to be accountable.

Responsible people not only depend on themselves, but show others that they can be depended on. This breeds trust, and trust is a key that opens many doors.

If you want more control over your life and the pleasures, prerogatives, and power of freedom and independence take responsability for your everyday choices.
Call to action for this week
Take responsability for your everday actions and be all you can be..

Greetngs to all

The Purpose of a Business

The Purpose of a Business Let’s start by asking you to answer a question. Withoutintellectualizing it or thinking what you think might be a cleveranswer, please say out loud the very first thing that comes to your mind... What's the Purpose of your business...? Or any business in theworld? Perhaps your answer might be something like, "Make money" or "Tomake a profit" or "To be fulfilled". Or, perhaps your answer was, "To help others" or "To help people solve their problems." Two different answers and two different vibrations. If your answer was similar to the first set, such as making money, ask yourself this, does it demonstrate a focus on you andyour business or does it focus on other people? It's on you and what you want, isn’t it? This is your Personal Agenda. And the second set? Your focus is on others, to help them get what they want. This is what is called as coming from a place of Purpose. Purpose and Personal Agenda The reason we ask the question "What is the Purpose of a business?" ... your words give you away!! What do we mean by this? Well, have you ever thought that your thoughts and words are energy that people directly or indirectly feel? Have you ever thought people can consciously and subconsciously feel your real intent? That they know whether you are focused on your Personal Agenda, which is about you and whatyou want, or on your Purpose, which is about helping them get what they want? To paraphrase an ancient saying... "Your words are an extension of your thoughts Your actions are an extension of your words And your habits are an extension of your actions" What you receive in life, and the way people respond to you, is based on your words, your actions and your habits. And it all starts where? With a thought! Everything starts with a thought. That's why thoughts are sopowerful. That's why choosing how you think and act willdetermine how life and people respond to you So back to the original question about the purpose of your business! The questions you have to ask yourself then, is, are you really in business for you, (Personal Agenda) or are you in it for other people (Purpose)? The truth is in the following question; If your solution cannot solve someone's problem, is there anyreason for them to do business with you? No, there isn't! So the real purpose of a business then is not about you and what you want, it’s to help other people solve their problems, or get what they want, need or desire. And that is the first principle... Principle 1. is Helping Other People Solve their Problems Another ancient saying says, "When you seek to serve, you ultimately serve yourself!" It's just a matter of knowing how to do it! And that is precisely what the this will do for you. It will allow you to effortlessly and easily help others get what they want that will ultimately allow you to get what you want without any anxiety in the process of doing so. Now, if you know how to help people solve their problems, and you can do it with your own solutions, you will achieve what? Your Personal Agenda, which is your own reason for being in business. Selling As a Problem Solving Exercise. If the purpose of a business is to help other people solve their problems, you could say that selling is merely a Problem Solving Exercise. It's not a telling or persuading exercise. It's all todo with problem solving. You could call yourself a PROBLEM SOLVER! With problems come opportunities. The opportunity for you is to help others get what they want and to be rewarded for it.
Call to Action
1. Reflect on how by serving others, you can achieve what it is that you want. 2. Two quotes to think about: "You can get anything you want if you help enough people get whatthey want" - Zig Ziglar
2.People don't care how much you know till they know how much you care.

I had a conversation with someone on my Team recently.. They asked me how they could attract the leaders, the Entrepreneurs, the goal getter's, not just goal setters..
One the greatest lessons in life "Be the Person you want to attract"Create the mindset that says I am the Leader that Leaders are looking for!
When you know that your Opportunity can and will change and enrich someones life with the proper amount of effort and time, you have an obligation to share it with people..When you come from that place and belief you will attract those that are looking for you.
Of course there are other factors, however saying that the greatest attributes to posses.. PASSION. People who are passionate about what they do will always attract the Leaders that you desire to have as part of your team.
When you read books and Listen to the Master trainers and Teachers in the world and they Inspire, motivate ,teach, support us to believe in ourselves and whats possible... Your Passion and confidence grow and grow.

Questions one may ask themselves

Creating a Life without Limits!
A few END-OF-THE-DAY questions for YOU!

Did I make someone giggle, smile or laugh today?

Did I take the time to really listen to someone today, with rapt attention, as if nothing else mattered in that precious moment but the words they spoke and the look in their eyes?

Did I allow myself to focus on all the blessings in my life today instead of contemplating the things I don't have?

Did I take a moment to imagine what I would like to experience in my life, if for no other reason than in the imagining, is the living, and in the living, comes the joy and delight?

Did I let go today, let go of resentments and unforgivingness that I have been holding onto, all the while realizing that another person may be wounded too and struggling with their own pain?

Did I keep my word today, no matter how simple a promise I may have made, knowing it meant a whole lot to someone else?

Did I make a conscious choice just to be happy today, no matter what is happening in my own life, just for the next moment, and the next moment and the next?

Did I stop caring about what other people think of me, and give myself permission to be who I am regardless of their good opinion of me or not? Did I set myself free today just by doing that?

Was I successful in noticing and appreciating the bounty before me wherever I went or was I just too busy or lost in my own thoughts to notice?

Did I contribute something beautiful to the world today? A new creation of some kind, a poem, a dinner, a dance?

Was I kind today to anyone or anything that crossed my path, no matter how trivial or how monumental? Did I give away my heart? Did I make a new friend?

Is one person richer because of me today, because of my presence on the planet, my essence, my decision to keep on going no matter what?

Did I learn something new today, something about life, something about myself, something about another that I didn't know before?

Did I let go of my attachment to being right today, and open my mind to the possibility of another way, without judgement?

Will someone sleep better tonight because of me? Will they awaken in the morning believing in themselves again, and walk with their head held high?

Was I the answer to someone's prayers today?

If today was to be my last day on the planet, would I feel happy about how I lived it?

Call to Action:
Make today your Day, Make your Mark and make it count! You are special!
Best Regards

Listen to this!

"If one advances confidently in the
direction of his dreams, and endeavors
to live the life he has imagined,
he will meet with a success
unexpected in common hours."
Here is a question? Take no action, do nothing towards your dreams and endeavors.
30 days from today where will you be in relation to your dreams?
Don't say the same as you were 30 days prior.. Not true. we either go forwards or backwards we never stay the same..Everything is in constant motion moving to or from the very thing we choose to make our reality.I like analogies, I use them allot when I share concepts, it helps the person visualize my point.. If you can visualize it you can create it.What will you achieve? What will you create in your reality? Will you let others tell you? will you let others tell you what you can achieve based on limiting beliefs?
The Internet is loaded with every Idea and concept known to man.. As a matter of fact there are some of the greatest trainers waiting to share their concepts and Ideas for your success.. The Most important Ingredient for your success is You.. You showing up and applying whats available. The truth 98% of the people who read or listen to the concepts for success are looking for the reason it won't work! As sad as that is its fact! Thousands of Books sold , thousands of Cd's, and book's sold and still 98% of the people never open past the first chapter or worse read it and say " great Idea for them but I don't think it will work for me"
Sad but true...
Everybody is looking for the silver magic bullet for success... Is there one?
I believe everyone has the opportunity to take this journey, this journey of success..
We all start at different points, and that is okay.. The Key is Get moving and surround yourself with those who believe in you even when you struggle to believe in yourself, and grow into the person you see yourself as!!
Call to Action:
Take the knowledge that you have been given and put it to action!!Daily, Consistent action
as I started with this I will end with this!!
"If one advances confidently in the
direction of his dreams, and endeavors
to live the life he has imagined,
he will meet with a success
unexpected in common hours."
God Bless

Dreams You Deserve them

"The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by obvious realities. We need men and women who can dream of things that never were..."
John F. Kennedy
1917-1963, Former American President

When I read this I am reminded of all the people who have gone before you and I and changed the world for good for millions of people.
It's pretty easy to find people that say "It can't be done" or that will never work because !!!!
One of my Mentors and Coach Bob Proctor says" Today is a manifestation of the past 7 years" Just like our Bodies.. They didn't just get tired, sluggish or overweight overnight.. W had to work at it.Dreams.. Do you still dream? or did you allow someone else or some circumstance to lose sight of that dream?
If you answered yes it's never to late to reignite that dream and feed its passion.
Let the people in your life that support your dreams surround you as you break through to the greatness that is each one of us and know that the desires of your heart will be fulfilled by the renewing of your Dreams.

I am reminded of one of my cleansers who desired to release over 100 pounds, and had tyred everything over the last 15 years.. when she decided she would do a cleanse her friends and family said : "another one of those things" She decided against all the skeptics and cynics that her dream was to be able to Walk and exercise and even compete in a marathon..Her Dreams were large..7 months later she not only released the 100 pounds she put on lean muscle mass therefore was able to compete in Marathons.. Dreams do happen, lives do change when the dreams are Big enough... Dream Big You deserve it.
This is your Call to Action What is your Dream? Decide right now, Visualize that Dream Daily and take steps towards accomplishing that Dream.

Busy or Productive

Busy or Productive:

One of the best ways to accelerate your progress towards achieving your most important goals is to understand the difference between being busy and being productive.

These days everyone is busy. We’re busy with work commitments, family commitments, community commitments and study commitments just to name a few. We all seem to start each day with a long and demanding ‘To Do’ list.

The big question is – Are the items on your ‘To Do’ list leading you towards achieving your most important goals? Are they Income Producing Activities?

Being truly productive does not involve simply getting a lot of tasks done. It involves identifying and completing the specific tasks that will lead you where you really want to go.

A great question to ask yourself at the end of each day is:

"Am I a step closer to achieving my goals than I was this morning?"

If the answer to this question is "Yes" then you’ve had a productive day. If the answer is "No" then chances are you’ve been very busy but not really productive.

The best way to make the transition from being busy to being productive is to follow these steps:

Step 1: Identify your most important current goals

Step 2: Determine the specific tasks that will move you a step closer to achieving each of your goals

Step 3: Schedule these tasks early in your day when you’re fresh and alert

For example, when I was a General Sales Manager, I was working up to 70 hours a week but deep down I knew that my actions were not taking me any closer to achieving my goals. I felt like a duck swimming against a fast flowing river. I was paddling as hard as I could but I just wasn’t getting anywhere.

Finally I realized what the problem was – I was always busy but never productive.

To break this pattern I set aside one hour a day as ‘My Time’ to work on my own business. This wasn’t always easy to find but I loved the feeling that came from knowing I was doing something productive each day to achieve my goals.

Eventually those one hour blocks of time led to the creation of billmacmunn.com which in turn helped me to walk away from the corporate world.

So I encourage you today to make the transition from being busy to being productive by following the three steps above. When you know what your goals are and you commit to taking a productive step towards achieving them each day, your success really is just a matter of time.

Until next time,
Bill MacMunn

Dare To Dream!

Taking Responsibility
